Manager of Accounting

We have a career opportunity for a Manager of Accounting that will be responsible for leading and supporting the ALI Holdings, LLC finance functions and team.

The position will be located at 11128 John Galt Blvd, Ste 500, Omaha, NE 68137, working with different management levels (including the Board of Directors, CEO, President, CFO, Vice Presidents) and support personnel in all other locations.

The impact you will have:

• You will supervise and train the accounting staff.
• You will oversee monthly close activities, including preparation of general ledger reconciliations and monthly closing journal entries.
• You will reconcile and review daily bank activity.
  • You will manage outstanding accounts receivable balances by routine review of aging reports and coordination of timely payment with sales department.
  • You will review and approve weekly vendor invoices to be paid to ensure timely payments.
  • You will participate in annual budgeting and capital expenditure planning processes.
  • You will contribute to and prepare the annual financial statements and footnotes.
  • You will coordinate with external auditors, including preparation of schedules and supporting documentation as requested by auditors.
  • You will increase efficiencies through streamlining accounting processes.
  • You will execute and lead team in internal controls. What we are looking for:
    • You will have a Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred or combined with 5 years of relevant experience.
      • CPA, MBA and/or public accounting experience preferred.
      • You will have strong financial analysis skills.
      • You will have the ability to understand and process high volumes of data with high accuracy.
      • You will have the ability to handle changing priorities and tight deadlines.
      • You will have strong knowledge of GAAP.
      • You will have detailed-oriented, problem solving, time management and organizational skills.
      • You will have strong written and verbal communication skills.
      • You will be proficient in Windows applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) You will have experience with Quickbooks and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
