Position Summary:

This position is shared between the Office of Assessment and the Office of Faculty and Staff Development within the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions. The role provides advanced administrative support for the assessment and professional development activities of the School.

This position will assist the Office of Assessment with the collection, reporting and archiving of data and reports required for multiple specialized accrediting bodies (ACOTE, CAPTE, ACPE). The Office of Assessment also supports the School and 4 program assessment committees and reports student learning outcomes within TaskStream. The position provides administrative support for all school assessment committees.

This position provides administrative support to the Office of Faculty and Staff Development. This position will work collaboratively with the Director of Faculty and Staff Development to plan and host New Employee Orientation and the All School Workshop as well as other professional development activities.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor s Degree preferred.
  • Experience in assessment activities preferred.
  • Experience in teaching and learning, staff development, and/or human resources.
  • 4-6 years related administrative experience within education.
  • Familiarity with a learning management system or online training tools Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Excellent interpersonal written and oral communication skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite products.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to analyze and interpret data.
    • Think logically and make associations and relationships.
    • Data entry experience.
    • Ability to work independently and require minimal oversight.
    • Ability to anticipate required work and self-initiate projects that have periodic or cyclical deadlines.
    • Ability to coordinate and organize meetings and special events. Essential Functions:

      30 %
      • Provide administrative support to the Director of Faculty and Staff Development and Faculty and Staff Development committee.
        • Collaborate with the Director of Faculty and Staff Development to create and host development sessions for faculty and staff.
        • Collaborate, plan, and host All School Workshop and New Employee Orientation programs to include logistics, budgets, speakers, and supplies.
        • Assist with on-boarding and off-boarding processes for SPAHP employees.
          • Update on-boarding and off-boarding checklists and distribute when needed.
          • Send welcome email to SPAHP community introducing new employee.
          • Provide other administrative support to include schedule and archive development sessions, arrange logistics for OFSD activities, gather information from various sources, schedule meetings, takes minutes, and maintains OFSD budget, invoices, and expenses. 60 %
            • Provide administrative support for SPAHP School Assessment activities.
              • Gather data and organize Annual Assessment Report
              • Complete Assessment Newsletter bi-annually
              • Other administrative tasks to include schedule meetings, take minutes, update databases and web based sites.
              • Provide administrative support to 4 program assessment committees (Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy, and Physical Therapy in Omaha and Phoenix).
                • Schedule meetings, draft agendas, take minutes, update databases and web based sites.
                • Create, distribute,and collect surveys.
                • Collect and input data into assessment programs, software, and databases.
                • Gather assessment data and assist with the writing of the assessment summaries and reports.
                • Collect data for student learning outcomes and input data.
                • Administer end-of-course evaluations for Pharmacy programs. 10 %
                  • Attend University Assessment Committee meetings/ TaskStream SuperGroup
                    • Assist with TaskStream training
                    • Consult with and provide peer reviews for other programs Physical Requirements:
