Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly, service oriented individual to be a positive representative and great first impression as our Corporate Receptionist. -- The successful candidate for this entry-level role should have an exceptional telephone presence, a consistent pleasant demeanor and dress professionally for this conservative office setting. The right candidate will also possess excellent organizational, computer and technology skills with a "can do" attitude. -- -- The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM in our Corporate Office located at the corner of 10th and Farnam. -- JOB OVERVIEW:-- The Corporate Receptionist must be able to communicate well with others, demonstrate flexibility and have the willingness to take on any task. This role often serves as the "first impression" for visitors and callers and will need to positively represent our company. --Please be advised that our policies prohibit exposed tattoos, piercings or face jewelry other than the ears, and unnatural/distracting hair colors (such as blue, green, pink etc.). Exceptions to this policy should be requested to Ann Bruner (contact information contained in this posting). This is a non-smoking environment. -- ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Welcomes and directs visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone. Assist in managing and screening all incoming communication, including phone calls, email and U.S. postal mail. Help to set up and reserve conference rooms for business meetings and conference calls. Assists in the daily organization of messenger assignments and requests. Order supplies and company groceries weekly. Maintain the general appearance of offices by tidying up as necessary. Notify supervisor of any needed repair or special cleanings needs. Other duties as assigned. -- ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS Regardless of task; must always remain busy with a positive and helpful attitude. Ability to exercise strong interpersonal skills, friendly attitude and tactfulness. Ability to work both with direction and independently take on tasks as assigned. Ability to adjust and adapt to change with a positive attitude. Excellent written and verbal skills are required. Ability to maintain professionalism at all times, in manner and dress. Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality. Demonstrated ability to utilize MS Office software effectively. Experience utilizing office equipment such as a copier, fax machine and postage meter preferred.
