Job Description:
Creighton University School of Dentistry is seeking a motivated
individual to support and develop the clinical curriculum to
provide dental students with a broad spectrum of experiences in the
treatment of Periodontics patients. Creighton University is a
Catholic and Jesuit comprehensive university committed to
excellence in undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs in
the Big East Conference.
The 12-month, tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor will work
with a team of dedicated faculty and leaders who are building on a
rich legacy of excellence in dental education and expanding our
capacity as a national resource for the dental profession. Specific
responsibilities will focus on clinical and didactic teaching at
the pre-doctoral level, participation in research, grant-funding,
service activities and delivering continuing dental education for
the department of Periodontics.
Primary appointment will be in the Department of Periodontics.
Candidates must have a dental degree (DDS/DMD) and a certificate in
Periodontics recognized by the Commission on Dental Education of
the American Dental Association and the ability to obtain a faculty
dental license in the state of Nebraska.
Qualified candidates must have a DDS or DMD degree or, an
equivalent degree from an international program along with
completion of an ADA accredited clinical specialty program and
successful completion of Part I and Part II of the National Board
Dental Examination, prior to the date of hire, and be licensed or
eligible for licensure in the state of Nebraska and acquire
credentialing from applicable third-party payer systems.
Candidates must also possess strong organizational and
communication skills with an ability to work collaboratively in a
collegial, interdisciplinary environment.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must have a DDS or DMD degree or, an

successful completion of Part I and Part II of the National Board
Dental Examination, prior to the date of hire, and be licensed or
eligible for licensure in the state of Nebraska and acquire
