Job Description:

Aerotek is hiring a full-time Continuous Improvement Coordinator. This position is responsible for identifying and coordinating process improvement initiatives within Aero, including best practices and standard operating procedures. The role is responsible for identifying, planning and implementing key projects to improve quality, reduce cost, increase productivity and improve cycle time, resulting in significant business improvement and customer satisfaction. Included in this is coordinating and documenting our Total Productivity Maintenance (TPM) program.This position will also act as the Safety Coordinator for this location. This includes injury investigations (if they occur), communicate safety info to safety team, and ensuring safety is part of each process improvement.Job Duties:* Execute process improvement solutions to business problems, using data analysis, and optimization tools to support strategic process improvement plans* Build relationships with associates to identify savings opportunities, development of cost-effective solutions, and follow through implementation* Develop plans, schedules, and budgets for project to innovate existing processes* Works with business units to develop standard operating procedures, documenting workflow and process steps* Identify key organizational change management and training needs that recommended process redesign will have on the facility* Develops tools and methods to track and report relevant key performance indicators (KPI's)* Coaches team leaders in effective team dynamics and leadership* Maintain maintenance program and coordinate maintenance as needed* Perform minor IT help desk functions* Maintain facility drawingsQualifications:* Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or another appropriate discipline in manufacturing.* 2-3 years of experience preferred* Good understanding of Lean Principals including TPM (Green Belt a plus)* Demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive projects with minimal supervision.* Outstanding oral and written communication skills and excellent English language/grammar.* Basic CAD knowledgeAbout Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
