What does a great Automation Engineer do at Fiserv?We need a junior level person that is a whiz at scripting and automation for this critical role. You'll analyze, define, design, test, implement and continuously mature automation solutions for the collection, dissemination and management of cryptographic data within existing and evolving company systems globally. It is essential for a Security Software Engineer to collaborate with product and system owners, data custodians, business analysts, software development engineers, project and program managers, and end users to engineer configurable, policy based solutions to align with company policies and industry regulations while supporting local country, business or technology specific operating requirements.If you are a motivated, out-going individual who enjoys a fast-paced, dynamic and team-centric work environment in a maturing, high growth security profession, let's explore if our Cryptographic & Key Management Services Team is a good fit for you.In this role, you can expect to:---Execute initiatives supporting our automation strategy, manage operating workflows and progress continuous improvement opportunities.---Consult with a wide variety of business, technical and compliance support teams to determine data protection and operating requirements to fulfill cryptographic key support needs.---Collect, define and document requirements for optimizing new and existing processes, and requisite system and procedural controls to ensure compliance with security requirements and best practices.---Define, document and maintain data flow diagrams, process workflows and standard operating procedures.---Perform data management tasks, including data definitions, validation, analysis, standardization, anomaly detection, normalization and reconciliation.---Facilitate process workflow modeling and simulations of end-to-end use cases to validate the accuracy and completeness of detailed requirements, designs and scope of needed capabilities.---Drive development and execution of quality assurance procedures and system integration test plans.---Assist a variety of technical and non-technical individuals to troubleshoot problems, identify and implement new or amended system functionality, identify operational process gaps and take corrective actions.Experience assessing, engineering, implementing and maturing solutions---Excellent communication and collaboration skills coupled with ability to foster ideas and constructive feedbackBasic Qualifications for Consideration:---Bachelor's degree or high school diploma/GED in Business, Information Technology/Assurance, Computer Science or Software EngineeringExperience with solution engineering---Minimum of 3 years software development coding experience using object oriented programmingMinimum of 2 year working with Python and/or JavaScript who can develop scripts---Maintain a flexible work schedule, work on-site and assist with occasional off-hours support activities Preferred Qualifications for Consideration: ---Minimum of 2 years financial payment services experience with an emphasis on payment authentication mechanisms and sensitive data protection employing cryptographic capabilities---Experience using waterfall, agile and hybrid software development approaches---Experience with Jira management tool---Knowledge of symmetric and asymmetric cryptography, key management lifecycle concepts and controls---Knowledge of cryptographic and sensitive data protection industry standards (ISO, ANSI, PCI)---Knowledge of cloud key management approaches and solutions, and Cryptography as a Service (CaaS) conceptsLearn More About Fiserv:Learn more about Fiserv: Life moves fast.
