As a Field Service Specialist, you will analyze customer needs and seek solutions to customer design problems in order to integrate Company products into customers' systems or subsystems. Primary purpose is to apply current products to increase market penetration. Design and implement control solutions using application design documents and requirements specifications. Some travel may be required.

In this role you will

1. Be a project team member for DCS projects.

2. Analyze, design, implement and document applications' components and modules.

3. Implement customer applications using Valmet product tools such as SABL, Graphics Editor and MDL.

4. Have direct customer interaction.

5. Understand and comply with software quality assurance standards.

6. Code and test project custom software.

7. Prepare technical proposals.

8. Perform related duties as assigned.

9. Have occasional project work that would require travel.

Expectations

The incumbent must meet one of these requirements:

1) 2-4 years of related experience - DCS and/or PLCs

2) Bachelor's degree in job related field

3) Equivalent combination of education and experience

This position requires a valid driver's license. The position will be primarily on site at the Cargill Blair, Nebraska facility.
