Job Description Job Description Industrial Maintenance Technician Schedule: 11:00 PM – 8:30 AM (Mon–Thu) & 11:00 PM – 4:30 AM (Fri) Pay: $25–$30/hr About the Role Join a leading packaging manufacturer where your technical skills keep production running smoothly. As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Responsibilities Follow all plant safety rules, GMP standards, and wear PPE at all times. Perform general maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, and equipment. Troubleshoot hydraulic systems and repair production equipment, compressors, boilers, and ancillary systems. Handle electrical, plumbing, and painting tasks as needed. Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to resolve issues. Research, select, and order parts and supplies. Respond to emergency situations and work flexible hours when required. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed. Qualifications Previous maintenance technician experience in a manufacturing environment. General mechanical knowledge (belts, drives, chains, power transmission systems). Ability to troubleshoot hydraulics and perform preventive maintenance. Familiarity with safety practices in maintenance. Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team. Preferred Skills Electrical and plumbing experience. Knowledge of compressors, boilers, and ancillary equipment.
