communities we serve. Position Summary : The Service Technician
will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul equipment. You Are: A
Problem Solver. As you work through projects, you're able to
continuously solve problems, find solutions, and resolve them as
they come up to complete work orders efficiently. You are motivated
to learn the ins and outs of combines and planters and don’t
hesitate to dive in – from simple repairs to setting up brand-new
products. A mechanical background or experience is a plus, but not
a requirement. Customer Focused. You understand the time it takes
to complete a job directly impacts the customer. You complete tasks
efficiently and effectively, ask for help when needed, and can
think on your feet to get equipment back to the customer promptly.
You get to know the Humphrey customers and what their needs are. A
Teammate. You’ll be asked to complete a majority of tasks
independently, but a team effort is required to provide superior
customer service. Work together with other technicians to promote
learning and increase overall shop efficiency. You Will: Build

piece of equipment will drive customer satisfaction and accuracy.

individual’s needs. Essential Job Functions Maintain, repair, and
overhaul equipment. Dismantle defective machines for repair, using
hand tools. Record details of repairs made, and parts used.
Reassemble machines and equipment following repair, testing
operation, and making adjustments, as necessary. Clean and
lubricate parts. Test and replace electrical components and wiring,
using test meters, soldering equipment, and hand tools. Tune or
overhaul engines. Examine and listen to equipment, read inspection
reports, and confer with customers to locate and diagnose
malfunctions. Repair or replace defective parts, using hand tools,
milling and woodworking machines, lathes, welding equipment,
grinders, or saws. Drive trucks to haul tools and equipment for
on-site repair of large machinery. Calculate bills according to
record of repairs made, labor time, and parts used. Perform all
other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or
GED, required. 3-5 years of heavy machinery technician experience,
preferred. Excellent negotiation skills. Excellent analytical and
organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication
