Job Description Job Description PLC Controls Engineer PLC Controls Engineer Position Overview We are seeking a skilled PLC Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement automation systems for our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with our engineering and production teams to enhance operational efficiency and ensure the successful integration of control systems. Key Responsibilities Design and develop PLC programs for control systems in accordance with project specifications. Implement HMI and SCADA systems for monitoring and controlling production processes. Troubleshoot and resolve issues within control systems and automation equipment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and safety. Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure reliability and compliance with industry standards. Provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance personnel. Stay updated with the latest technologies in automation and control systems. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field. Proven experience in control systems design and implementation. Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages, including Ladder Logic and Structured Text. Experience with Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs. Familiarity with HMI and SCADA design and implementation. Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and control systems. Experience with industrial networking and robotics is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
