Personal Lines Agency Sales Manager

OVERVIEWSentry is seeking a motivated self-starter who has
strong organizational skills to join our Agency Sales Team! In this
role, you will be responsible for agency selection through
identification of qualified agency partnerships for our
non-standard auto and cycle Personal Lines Insurance. If you are
located in Des Moines, IA; or Omaha, NE; and have the passion to
unleash your talent and the drive to build new relationships, this
is a great opportunity for you.WHAT YOU'LL DOAs the Agency Sales
Manager you will be responsible for implementing plans and programs
to contribute to the achievement of agency produced sales, premium
and loss ratio objectives. In addition, youll:
--- Oversee agency sales within the Iowa and Nebraska region
--- Oversee agency selection, suspension and terminations
--- Provide comprehensive sales expertise to agents to increase
--- Develop new and enhance existing agent premium sources to
achieve sales and premium objectives
--- Implement plans and programs to contribute to the achievement
of agency produced sales and premium objectives
--- Develop rapport with agents to develop acceptable and
profitable businessWHAT IT TAKES--- Bachelors degree preferred
--- 2+ years of related work experience in the insurance industry,
with familiarity of non-standard auto
--- Sales experience and knowledge of professional sales
--- Effective human relations and communication skills to
communicate with prospective agents and current agents
--- Ability to meet travel requirements of this job the expectation
is a minimum of 50% travel. There will be overnight travel required
--- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record and valid drivers licenseWHAT
