What we're looking for---
Tetra Tech is currently seeking a--Project Manager/Technical Expert
candidates to join our Omaha, NE office. You will help to grow our
presence in Omaha and support projects for our DoD and non-DoD
clients. This position will require a unique set of skills -
technical, project management, communication, organization, cost
Tetra Tech has existing contracts with the USACE Omaha District and
other DoD contracts as the platform for growth. While much of the
work will be for our DoD clients, projects are anticipated to
expand into commercial/state/local clients as the office grows. If
you possess a proven track record of managing environmental
projects or tasks (e.g., conventional contaminants, emerging
contaminants such as PFAS, munitions, etc.), interact well with
clients and coworkers, and collaborate to solve complex problems,

We're looking for Project Manager/Technical Expert candidates with
--- Existing relationships with the USACE, especially with the
--- Strong technical background managing and/or performing
technical tasks for environmental projects for the USACE and/or
other DoD clients;
--- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication
--- Ability to work well as part of a team and/or lead teams;
--- Initiative to build own career and success.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
--- Manage. Be responsive to client requirements; help them to
achieve their mission. Truly understand project scope requirements,
manage resources, and successfully execute assigned projects.
--- Be well-rounded. This position requires both technical and
project management skills. You may work on project teams, manage
projects, lead or support proposals, develop capture strategies,
and so on.
--- Collaborate. Build strategic relationships focused on expanding
Tetra Tech's work with the Omaha District.
--- Be Accountable. Accept personal responsibility for achieving
project milestones on time and within budget. Be creative in
developing your own path to achieve personal success.
Requirements & Preferred Experience:
--- 8+ years of technical experience working in the environmental
field (e.g., conventional contaminants, emerging contaminants such
as PFAS, munitions, etc.).
--- 3+ years of project management experience.
--- Experience working on Department of Defense contracts is
required. Recent, relevant experience working with the USACE Omaha
District is highly preferred. Having a diverse background working
for DoD and non-DoD clients is a plus.
--- Experience supporting, or leading Task Order cost proposals is
--- BS degree in engineering, science or a related technical field
is required. Advanced degree is preferred.
--- Professional registration, i.e. Professional Engineer (PE),
Professional Geologist (PG) is preferred. PMP Certification a
