If you think you have these core attributes we want to hear from you.Job Summary:The Digital Distribution Engagement Director is responsible for collaborating with Markel's Digital Distribution partners to align the needs of those partners with Digital resources and capabilities within the Digital Organization. The Digital Distribution Engagement Director will work with the Specialty Insurance Engagement Leader in order to support US Insurance and our Digital Distribution partners and their needs.Job Responsibilities:

  • Understands and execute on business objectives and strategic goals to provide guidance and recommendations on potential digital solutions
  • Consult on digital strategies in support of specific business needs that align/are consistent with the organization's digital strategy
  • Serve as the digital expert and resource to external strategic partners
  • Raise awareness around existing or emerging capabilities either within the digital organization or digitally aligned parts of the enterprise
  • Highlight growth opportunities and success from digital product distribution
  • Work with stakeholders, digital team and the LOBs on rollout planning, communications and messaging
  • Keep stakeholders informed of all new digital capabilities that are available and collaborate to build a plan to deliver for the verticals in the future
  • Provide research and analytical support to identify, evaluate, and implement solutions for strategic priorities or critical business issues that arise
  • Monitor the performance of project, program and service delivery and provide transparency to stakeholders
  • Identifies, builds, and fosters relationships with key stakeholders to leverage their expertise to achieve work objectives
  • Work independently to design and lead research projects related to market trends, consumer profiles, and competitive intelligence Requirements for the role:
    • Bachelor's degree required; Bachelor's in Communications and/or Business preferred
    • 8 + years or more of insurance and/or project/program management experience
      • Strong team interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and resolve conflict
      • Great project management, communication, organizational, and analytical skills
      • Knowledge of the insurance industry is plus
