Director, Compensation and Benefits
Overall leadership responsibility for the compensation, benefits, recognition and talent analytics and technology team. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Ensure employee well-being is the foundational focus to better enable physical, mental and financial well-being
Partner with HR Business Partners and General Managers to ensure appropriately designed compensation plans with all the stores
Partnering with other internal leaders and the benefits broker, design and effectively administer comprehensive benefit offering focused on enabling physical, mental and financial well-being
Continuously improve, simplify and streamline total rewards processes and procedures focused on enabling a great employee experience and manager experience
In partnership with the talent management team, develop and deliver management training to store leaders on effective compensation practices, tools and talent analytics
Lead the simplification and streamlining of HR Operations processes and procedures
Lead contact/conduit with the external benefits broker(s), benefits center, etc.

Key, Preferred Qualifications include, but not limited to:

Knowledge of modern, innovative total rewards models, tools, practices, platforms and approaches
Ability to effectively lead and continually develop a strong total rewards and HR Operations team
Knowledge of EEO and ERISA laws and regulations relating to total rewards
10+ years of business operational, HR and/or total rewards leadership experience beneficial
Ability to effectively interact and engage with all levels of roles from operational and client facing roles within the stores to senior level executives including store general managers
A positive approach and team-first mindset where you are a great, collaborative and supportive teammate
Forward thinking, progressive and dynamic - always focused on continuous improvement and individual and team growth and development
Being curious, agile and having a desire to embrace new experiences
Strong communication skills including having a welcoming approach, good listening skills and being empathic
