Job Description:

Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to formulate and execute digital media strategies in support of marketing's long and short-term goals for profitable growth.


Formulates digital media strategies, aligning marketing campaigns to larger strategic objectives to gain leads and acquire new customers. Implements the campaigns with vendors, such as Google and Bing.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and budget reporting for business partners. Tracks online advertising expenditures against budgets and response rates, adjusting advertising efforts as necessary in real time to maximize return on ad spend.
Ensures creative and messaging appropriately align to the Mutual of Omaha brand, including working with Legal & Compliance to assure creative is appropriate for the competitive and regulatory environment.
Responsible for analyzing and reporting campaign performance, including proposed course corrections to managers and leadership team.
Works with the Marketing teams to formulate test plans to validate new creative or changes in campaign direction with the goal of continuous improvement.
Maintains awareness of the competitive environment, insurance industry, online trends (social, mobile, and other advances in trends/technologies) and key industry regulations, which may impact program(s) and/or business model, and overall strategic objective.

Understanding of online advertising and marketing principles, including search (both Paid and Organic) optimization, display, affiliate, email, social media and mobile online tactics.
3 years professional experience executing paid digital media
Strong analytical disposition and ability to translate media optimizations to business outcomes
Demonstrates good strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and priorities
Self-motivated, driven and hungry for growth with an acute sense of ownership
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong experience developing and presenting media strategies


Knowledge of financial services (insurance and banking) industry
Bachelor's degree in related field
Familiarity with Google Analytics
Familiarity with search engine optimization
Familiarity working within a bid management platform and/or paid search publishers
Demonstrated success in creating and executing digital media campaigns that drove engagement and grew audiences
