The Operations Manager is directly responsible for the field
operations of our diverse, fast-growing lawn and landscaping
company. This person will be thoroughly familiar with all aspects
of operations which include, safety, training, efficiency, customer
service, quality craftsmanship, logistics, and industry standards.
You will display leadership capability while upholding our company
culture and core values.
Objective & Responsibilities:
Meets quality and efficiency goals for our maintenance and
landscape install divisions; this includes 15-17 crews.
Manages the handoff from sales to production for all project-based
Organizes and implements morning and end of day routine, daily
huddles, weekly and monthly meetings with all production team
Acts as the safety manager, implementing safety programs and
achieving safety goals.
Develops and implements company training programs.
Writes and maintains quality standard SOPs for production.
Works with GM to hire and onboard all new hires; also assist in
disciplinary and policy oversight.
Develops the skill set of all field production team members.
Ensures customer and employee satisfaction and retention.
Ensures all equipment and materials are available and ready when
Works with the mechanic to ensure the maintenance and care of
tools, fleet, and equipment.
Sits on the company leadership team to assist in the development
and implementation of the company strategic plan.
Leads snow team operations during the winter months.
Desired Experience and Education:
8+ years of green industry experience or related field.
4+ years of management / supervisory experience.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
Nebraska pesticide applicator's license is preferred but can obtain
Proficient technological skills in Microsoft Office, CRM,
operations software, mobile apps.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exposure to scheduling and logistics; must know Omaha area map very
Working knowledge of fleet equipment and trucks used in the
Valid driver's license and a clean driving and criminal record.
Ability to maintain a professional, positive, and charismatic
Compensation & Benefits:
Total compensation of $65,000-80,000, DOE
