Mosaic is seeking a dynamic leader to support the Total Rewards function for the organization. This role is highly visible and will

oversee the administration of employee benefits and the total rewards package design. This position is also responsible for the coordination of all communications for those areas and supervises designated staff. Responsible for the development of policies and procedures related to benefits and compensation, as well as job descriptions and job evaluations. This position is a REMOTE position and can office from any of our states of operation: IN, IL, CO, NE, KS, IA, CT, DE, RI, ME, AZ, WI, and NH.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the hiring, training, supervision and coaching of direct reports to maximize employee engagement and effectively achieve desired results.
Serve as the lead for implementation of organization-wide goals assigned to department/team. Secure necessary resources, monitor performance and adjust strategies to achieve the goal(s).
Plan and direct the implementation and administration of benefits and compensation programs, ensure that these programs are in compliance with regulatory requirements, and participate in surveys and budget analysis for these areas.
Direct the development and application of job analysis, job descriptions, and grading to determine relative job worth into monetary values.
Advise management and human resources staff on issues related to compensation and benefits.
Work in partnership with consultants, legal counsel, and third-party administrators to develop operational procedures and coordinate upcoming projects.
Analyze existing compensation and benefit policies to determine programs that best meet the needs of the organization.
Maintain competitive Total Rewards practices.
Evaluate, create, and maintain salary structures, policies, procedures, and programs.
Consult with internal business partners to assess benefits, compensation, and compliance needs.
Monitor and respond appropriately to changing federal and state employee benefits regulations, as well as the shifting needs of the organization's workforce.
Coordinate vendor management, wellness and health education initiatives. Negotiates coverage service and costs with carriers.
Partner with Finance to source or generate necessary reporting, data and analyses related to compensation and benefits costs.
Strong understanding and current experience in the design and administration of required benefit compliance activities including ACA, HIPAA, and SPD's.
Proven success in effective vendor selection and management.
Strong business acumen and financial analysis capabilities.

Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of five years of experience in benefits and compensation.
Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) preferred.
Two years of supervisory experience and five years of experience in the design and hands-on administration of base pay and incentive compensation programs.
Experience in multi-state, 1000+ employee organizations preferred.
