Job Description:

Develop and maintain a direct relationship with their Dedicated Operations Customers to understand their goals and expectations. Utilize statistical data to understand our current performance and then offer creative enhancements or recommendations to improve their operations. Work with the Operations Supervisor to Implement recommendations and ensure their execution.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The job functions listed below represent the essential job duties and responsibilities of the above-
listed position.

  • Provide direction to the Operations Supervisor and Dedicated team on key factors or account specifics they should focus on for each account.
  • Analyze and implement plans on how to improve those key factors.
  • Full responsibility and accountability of operational performance and P&L's.
  • Work with Operations Supervisor to develop the leadership skills of the dedicated team.
  • Create and manage a development plan for the Dedicated Mangers, Fleet Managers, Dedicated Assistants and/or administrative staff to effectively exceed both Werner Enterprises and Customer
  • Strategic Planning that includes new process development, training, and forecasting.
  • Maintain Performance Review and Planning reviews on a periodic basis and follow-up on the needed paperwork.
  • Make recommendations on promotions and compensation changes.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.

    • Excellent managerial, communication, and team leading and team development skills.
    • Knowledge of the transportation industry and its terminology; usually gained through formal education, certifications, practical experience.
    • Advanced P.C. (Windows), Power Point, Excel, Microsoft Word, mobile electronic devices and various types of office equipment.

      EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
      • 4 year college degree or equivalent
      • 5-7 years overall transportation experience
      • 3-5 years dedicated manager experience
      • 1-2 years operational supervisor experience
