As the Senior Director of Marketing and Enrollment Strategy, you will be responsible for the oversight and development of a strategic enrollment strategy to achieve enrollment outcomes and desired net tuition revenue that aligns with the overall enrollment vision for the University. This includes oversight of all communication, publications, and digital campaigns that drive enrollment. Integrated communications and marketing plans are required for all segments of the market including undergraduate, graduate, professional and adult student populations. In this role, you will be responsible for key message development, collaboration with overall brand strategy, and program differentiation.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop fiscal year strategic marketing campaigns to build new leads and nurture students through enrollment process
  • Oversight of marketing initiatives involving SEM, SEO, PPC, and digital advertising
  • Support partnership relationships and ensure partners are maintaining campaign effectiveness, consistent messaging and utilizing university brand standards
  • Analyze CRM data, paid media analytics and website analytics to drive marketing campaign decisions and optimizations
  • Work with internal EM marketing, communications and recruitment teams to generate content and execute marketing projects inclusive, but not limited to, e-communication streams, website content, recruitment/sales materials, news articles, blog content, alumni and current student profiles, program announcements, new program launches, event promotion, etc.
  • Maintain program faculty and staff relationships and meet regularly for program updates, knowledge transfer and approvals
  • Maintain understanding of content and relevant updates, as needed, across multiple platforms website, social media, CRM, etc.
  • Work with UCOM and campus stakeholders to communicate campaign strategies and collaborate on enrollment-focused marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate daily with AVPs of Enrollment Management to share campaign insights related to sources of leads, identify outreach priorities, build communication plans and maintain consistent information between marketing and recruitment efforts
    Qualifications:
    • A Masters Degree in marketing, advertising or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired
    • 7-10 Years of working experience in marketing, communications, and/or advertising
    • Proven working experience in managing a team and serving multiple stakeholders
    • Digital marketing background in paid media preferred Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Microsoft Bing and paid social media marketing Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
    • Experience with Enrollment management or working a sales funnel preferred
    • Experience in vendor or partner management preferred
    • Experience with utilizing a CRM system preferred
    • Experience with marketing and admissions reporting and knowledge of applicable metrics preferred
      Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to express ideas clearly, logically, and in an organized fashion
      • Solid organizational and prioritization skills
      • Proven experience with managing a team and prioritizing the teams workload
      • Requires the ability to work independently, take initiative, be detailed oriented, approach work with an attitude of collaboration and work with staff and faculty professionally and tactfully
      • Strong collaboration skills, ability to motivate, and inspire staff at all levels of the organization
      • Demonstrated experience with strategic and master planning
      • Experience with budget planning, forecasting, and fiscal management of an operating budgeting
      • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement complex plans coordinated with multiple constituencies
      • Strong ability to manage, supervise, and develop professional staff
