HDR is seeking a Water Resources Engineer/Project Manager to assist
in project and task-level management activities, as well as project
engineering, design, and planning in the development and analysis
of water resources projects. Specific duties may include: review of
hydrologic and hydraulic modeling results to assess project impacts
to floodplains; conduct analyses to develop alternatives, design
options, or recommendations for water resource projects; channel
stabilization and restoration analysis and design; sanitary and
stormwater sewer analysis and design; assist in the preparation of
reports, cost estimates, design drawings, and specifications for
water resources related projects; and collect, assimilate, and
present data in technical and non-technical reports. Individual
should be able to work independently as well as plan, organize, and
assist groups of medium to large teams of professionals and
technicians
Required Qualifications
--- BS Civil Engineering, BS Biological Systems Engineering or
related field required
--- PE required.
--- 8+ years Water Resources engineering/planning related
experience.
--- Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and software including
experience with: HEC-HMS, HEC-RASArcGIS. Innovyze, SWMM
--- Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project
team.
--- Excellent writing and communication skills
--- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of
