the needs of a constantly evolving world. Position Description
Lindsay Corporation has an exciting opportunity for a Product
Manager - Irrigation to join the global headquarters in Omaha, NE.
This role will be part of the global product management team and
report to the Vice President of Global Product Management -
Mechanical. This critical role will have responsibility for our
Irrigation business overseeing a broad range of responsibilities
with an opportunity to plan and drive the success of the business.
Position Details This position will be located at Lindsays Omaha
headquarters location. This is a full-time role that follows a
hybrid model in which our core in-office days are Tuesday-Thursday.
There are travel expectations for this role to include local and
some international travel, up to 20-25%. Duties &
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze Voice of the Customer information for
determining new products or features that should be added to our
product offering
- Manage internal processes for creating and maintaining product
and part level information in the companys ERP system
- Work with sales and marketing to establish and maintain pricing
to achieve company goals. Input pricing to company systems and
publish to our channel partners.
- Understand and clearly communicate the Zimmatic products
technical and commercial requirements and features to stakeholders
including channel partners
- Guide and inspire the product development team who is
responsible for building new products and maintaining current
products
- Develop and maintain 3-5 year product roadmaps for the assigned
product lines
- Develop and communicate business cases for future development
projects
- Collaborate with other stakeholders such as marketing, sales
and channel partners on the creation of positioning and collateral
to support market penetration and sales growth Preferred
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in engineering, marketing or business
administration
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Ability to use hard
data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business
cases
- Ability to work successfully with diverse groups of
stakeholders
- Strong presentation, verbal and written communication
skills
- Ability to influence others without direct span of control
- Excellent organizational skills including the ability to
establish prioritization
- 2+ years of irrigation industry experience preferred
- 2+ years of technical design or sales preferred
- Experience with voice of the customer techniques What makes
