Manager, Infrastructure Lindsay Corporation is hiring a new Infrastructure Manager, responsible for leading IT infrastructure, collaboration, and cloud technologies for Lindsays global network. This player/coach role will report to the Sr. Director of IT and is a rewarding blend of hands-on technical implementation and team leadership. The manager, Infrastructure will be responsible for overseeing and managing the physical and technological assets not limited to maintaining IT systems, networks, servers, and other technical infrastructure. Position Details The Manager, Infrastructure is a full-time position, located at our Omaha headquarters location. This individual will work a hybrid schedule, with core office days being Tuesday-Thursday . Lindsay offers a comprehensive benefits package. There will be travel required which is usually 5% to 10% for the entire year. Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to the IT infrastructure team members that engineer and support all enterprise services including network, server, cloud, and collaboration solutions.
  • Manage the daily workload and assignments across the infrastructure team to align priorities.
  • Identify and implement improvements including standardization, automation, and optimization of services to reduce costs and improve end user experience.
  • Manage the proactive monitoring and maintenance of all enterprise infrastructure to ensure service availability and performance.
  • Along with other IT leaders, drive the development of technology strategies to support IT objectives to support business goals.
  • Easily shift from high level technical architecture to advanced troubleshooting.
  • Ensure technology designs are optimized and IT services are monitored and supported appropriately. Expectations
    • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, negotiate contracts, and ensure that service level agreements are met.
    • Manage and be proactive with disaster recovery plan to ensure that critical infrastructure systems can be quickly addressed in the event of a disruption.
    • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to plan and implement infrastructure improvements and upgrades
    • Establish rules and be proactive in monitoring and reporting on the performance and availability of infrastructure systems, and taking corrective action as needed.
    • Ensure that infrastructure systems comply with relevant regulations and standards such as data privacy and security requirements.
    • Ability to adapt to changing business and technological environments and be open to new ideas and approaches. Qualifications
      • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (or related field) or equivalent experience is recommended.
      • 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience with strong technical experience managing a broad range of technologies, including servers, network, firewalls, and cloud solutions.
      • Working knowledge of cloud computing (Azure), cloud storage and backup solutions, virtualization technology including intrusion detection, firewalls and encryption is a plus
      • Experience in designing and implementing large scale, enterprise-wide architectures, integrating leading solutions and tools.
      • Must have a strong understanding of the business goals, strategies, and operations, and be able to align infrastructure strategies with these objectives.
