Job Description:
Children's Hospital & Medical Center, in affiliation with the
University of Nebraska College of Medicine, is currently recruiting
an academic pediatric allergist/immunologist to join our growing
hospital and clinic-based group. Our group of board-certified
allergy-immunology faculty are active in the following programs:
high risk asthma clinic; EGID clinic, food allergy clinic and
challenges; drug allergy clinic and challenges; coalition
development, immunology clinics and inner city satellite
clinic.
Children's Hospital & Medical Center is a 225-bed nonprofit
organization caring for children since 1948. Founded by the
community and for the community, Children's is the only
full-service, pediatric specialty health center in Nebraska,
providing expertise in more than 50 pediatric specialty services to
children across a five-state region and beyond. As the region's
pediatric healthcare leader, we're dedicated to exceptional care,
advocacy, research and education. Our state-of-the-art Hubbard
Center for Children opened in August 2021 and is home to Nebraska's
only Level IV regional Newborn Intensive Care Unit, Fetal Care
Center, the state's only Level II Pediatric Trauma Center and a
first-in-the-region Cardiac Care Unit. The Child Health Research
Institute, an innovative partnership between UNMC and Children's
Hospital & Medical Center, was established in 2017 and aims to
assist investigators with start-up funding and infrastructure for
clinical, basic science or translational research.
