Job Description:

The College of Nursingat Creighton University is currently looking to hire a Senior Program Coordinator.

Provide administrative support for the Associate Dean for Academics, Assessment, and Accreditation. Assists with accreditation self-study preparation and materials. Assist hiring manager for faculty hiring for all three campuses and manages searches in coordination with HR. Schedules meetings and takes minutes for Council of Academic Affairs and Phoenix Steering Committee.

Schedule: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and flexibility to be available in off hours due to Phoenix campus time difference.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative support to include: letters, database surveys, meeting schedule, minutes.
  • Academic failures and misconduct management: assists with letters to students for any misconduct and failures, academic misconduct surveys, maintains database and submits outcomes to appropriate people.
  • Appeals process management consists of maintaining file, schedules hearings, takes minutes, and assists with letters to the student appealing.
  • Assistant hiring manager for new faculty on the Omaha, Grand Island, and Phoenix campuses. Coordinates with the HR staff and CON search team.
  • Manages changes in the Catalogue (nursing and paramedicine) for the registrar s office.
  • Manages academic failures and misconduct needs by assisting with letters to students for any misconduct and failures, academic misconduct surveys, maintains database and submits outcomes to appropriate people.
  • Assists Undergraduate and Graduate Assistant Deans as needed.
  • Order supplies, deliver mail, provide visitor parking permits, assist with print orders, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications
    • Bachelor s Degree preferred; may consider combination of other work/education experiences.
    • Six years administrative experience.
    • Proficiency with Windows PC, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), browser-based applications, and electronic file management.
    • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information.

      Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
      • Demonstrated ability to navigate seamlessly between multiple systems and computer applications.
      • Ability to compile data and generate reports.
      • Ability to make procedural decisions based on scope of position.
      • Ability to train stakeholders.
      • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in diverse communities.
      • Ability to coordinate and prioritize work with multiple and conflicting demands, in a deadline-oriented environment.
      • Self-awareness of personal training needs: ability to locate available training materials, learn from materials, and use the training in day-to-day work environment.
