    • Important for a nurse to have skills in working with systems involved, have strong communication/medication skills, teaching skills, developmental knowledge, crisis de-escalation skills, etc.
      • Schedule Information
      • 8 and 12 hour shifts.
      • Shift times: 0630-1900, 1830-0700 or 1500-2300
      • Every third weekend
      • Shift orientation: 2-4 weeks depending on experience
        • Unit Specific Information
        • # of Beds: 34
        • Nurse:Patient Ratios: Days: 1:5-6. Nights: 1:8-10
        • Patient Populations/Common diagnoses: Peds-Children and adolescents. Depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHA, Adjustment disorders, acute psychosis, bipolar disorder
        • Support staff includes mental health technicians and student nurse techs
        • Floating Requirements: Will float to Acute Behavioral areas first typically- geriatric, adult and if not needed there can support a task assignment in MedSurg areas
        • Dress Code: Navy Blue
        • Team Model includes: Psychiatrist (hospital based model), RN, Care Manager (RN supports DC planning and UM), Mental Health Techs, Student Nurse Techs, Recreational Therapist, Program Therapist, and ancillary support- Chaplain services and Dietary.
          • Additional Details
          • Candidate may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
          • Radius Rule: 50 miles
          • RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
