Pay Information $3,052 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13-26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience required License: Active RN License required Certifications: BLS required; EPIC charting experience required Must-Have: - Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center and Teaching Hospital - Candidate must be more than 100 miles from the facility - No local applicants accepted - Availability to float within the scope Description: This role involves providing care to trauma patients with a focus on both acute and chronic needs. The unit is fast-paced and caters to patients admitted from the emergency department, transferred from Intensive Care Units, or admitted from surgical or procedural services. Ratios are typically 1:5 during the day and 1:6 at night, although night ratios may occasionally reach 1:7 depending on staffing. All floors may require administration of drips. First-time travelers are not accepted unless they have a minimum of 2 years of trauma experience and meet all other requirements. This is a nicotine-free facility. Two weekends in a four-week schedule period are required. Travelers must adhere to mandatory uniform requirements. Documents are required to be submitted by a specified deadline. All contracts must end on a Sunday.
