of Nebraska (HCAN) is actively recruiting a Pediatrician to join a
Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Norfolk, Nebraska,
where you will provide high-quality, patient-centered medical care

collaboratively to address all aspects of patients’ health and

and respect where the care of the patient matters most Your Role: -
Provide direct patient care to clinic patients (examine, diagnosis,
and prescribe appropriate treatment plans) - Participate in the
review, development, and training of patient care policies,
procedures, protocols, and standing orders - Maintain health
records for all patients and provide appropriate follow-up
instructions through the use of electronic health records - Provide
continuity of care to patients and serve in rotation for after-hour
care coverage - Assume responsibility and accountability for
delegating, directing, and supervising patient care activities -
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve health
outcomes What We Are Looking For: - Medical degree from an
accredited school of medicine required - Current unrestricted
license to practice medicine in the state of Nebraska required -
Current DEA license required - Knowledge of public health
principles and practices is preferred - Administrative experience
as a physician in implementing community health programs preferred
- Demonstrated professional commitment to providing services to
medically under-served individuals in a public health setting -
Ability to foster strong patient-provider relationships Location
