The ideal candidate will provide patients and their families with
access to the latest treatments and resources in acompassionate
manner. As the Division Chief: - Build a new Academic Division of
Hematology Oncology - Start a Hematology/Oncology Fellowship;
Program Director will have additional dedicated academic FTE -
Recruit new faculty to the program - .1 FTE Academic/Chief; .2 FTE
Medical Director; .7 FTE Clinical - Possible opportunities for
involvement with the Hereditary Cancer Center - Faculty appointment
with Creighton University School of Medicine - Participate in
Clinical Trials and Research - Partner with Radiation Oncology -
Participate in weekly tumor board - Comprehensive patient and
family resources including genetics - Large established Employed
Primary Care referral base Qualifications: - Board Certified in
Hematology/Oncology with a minimum of 7 years experience post
fellowship. - Current rank of Associate Professor or higher -
Experienced with research and fellowship education - Board
Certified in Internal Medicine - Ability to obtain Nebraska License
