Pay Information $3,364 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 Years of Telemetry Experience Required License: Active RN License Required Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: - 2 Years of Experience in a Large, Urban Hospital - EPIC Charting Experience Required - Ability to Float Within Scope to Meet Facility Needs Description: This position requires a registered nurse to work in a team-based care delivery model. The unit cares for a variety of medical and telemetry patients with acute and/or chronic illnesses. Staff will manage titratable drips, chest tubes, tracheostomies, complex wound care, and end-of-life care. Team-based care involves licensed and unlicensed healthcare professionals collaborating toward common goals. Each team member should be well-versed in utilizing their strengths and skills effectively. Staff will be expected to manage a typical patient ratio of 1:9 during night shifts. Candidates must have the ability to work in a nicotine-free environment. All team members participate in administrative tasks, allowing nurses to operate at the top of their scope. Mandatory weekend shifts will involve 4 shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period.
