Responsibilities: - Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to
patients in the med-surg unit - Monitor vital signs and assess
patient conditions regularly to ensure optimal health outcomes -
Administer medications and treatments accurately, following
prescribed protocols - Collaborate effectively with
interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed
medical records - Educate patients and families about health
management and post-discharge care - Respond promptly to patient
needs and emergencies, demonstrating clinical expertise and
professionalism What You Bring: - Valid and current Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice - Proven experience in
medical-surgical nursing or a related acute care setting - Ability
to work independently and efficiently during night shifts - Strong
critical thinking and clinical assessment skills - Excellent
communication and team collaboration abilities - Flexibility to
adapt to changing patient needs and unit demands - Commitment to
providing high-quality patient care and safety Preferred Education
& Experience: - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate
Degree in Nursing (ADN) - Minimum of 1-2 years of recent med-surg
nursing experience in a hospital setting - Experience with
electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus Certifications &
Licenses: - Valid RN license in the state of practice (_required) -
American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification (_required) -
Additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS are advantageous but
