Registered Nurse (RN) | Neuro Location: Omaha, NE Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,318 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical - Neuro Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in large, urban hospital License: Nebraska RN License required Certifications: ACLS, CPI, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - EPIC charting experience - Travel experience required - Charge experience preferred Description: 36 or 48 hour options available. Travelers are first to float. RNs must be prepared to float frequently to meet the staffing needs of the facility. RTO blackout dates may apply due to events. Specialty includes mixed acuity (Medical Surgical/Telemetry & Stepdown) care. This is a multi-care level unit. RNs should be prepared to care for up to five medical surgical patients. The unit consists of 48 beds specializing in Neurology and Neurosurgery. Eight beds are equipped for long-term EEG monitoring. The patient population includes strokes, aneurysms, seizures, spinal fusions, brain and spinal cord tumors, and other neurological conditions. Day ratios are 1:5 and night ratios are 1:6. Night ratios can occasionally be 1:7. Stepdown ratios are 1:3-4. Drips are required on all floors. First-time travelers are not accepted without significant experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center. Floating may include various units within the facility. Care teams include CNAs, care techs, transport team, and paramedics. LPNs are assigned on some, but not all, floors. Facility is 100% nicotine free. Weekend requirements are four weekend shifts out of eight possible in a four-week period. Specific weekend and holiday requirements apply. RTO requests must be submitted with application. Additional requests after confirmation are at the discretion of management. Local candidates are not accepted. Pending licenses accepted if proof is provided. Scrubs are mandatory; specific colors and logos are required. Compliance documents must meet deadlines. Specific labs may be required within a set timeframe. All contracts must end on a Sunday.
