75519689 Shift: 12H Nights 12 hr nights Description: Unit Rule: 50
miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with
any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or
Dignity.* * RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation.
OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary
resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be
terminated * Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in
all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails
will lead to termination of contractDriver's license required at
submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50
miles.Department: Inpatient Rehab*Certifications: BLS required for
all. Beds: 35- Ratios: Days: 1:5 / Nights: 1:6- Required
certifications: BLS- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults and
geriatrics, Stroke, SCI, Amputee, BI, critical illness,
neurological disease-MS, Parkinsons, etc. - Are RNs required to
titrate drips?: No- Common titratable &/or set rate drips:
Antibiotics, anticoagulation, antiplatelets- Is there a Charge
Nurse on each shift?: Charge Nurse- Are there nurse aids/patient
care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties?: Yes- 1:10-15- Shifts &
Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?):
0630-1900, 1830-0700 / cyclic self-scheduling- Weekend Requirement:
At minimum every 3rd weekend- Holiday Requirement: At minimum 2
holidays- Is there Call or a Standby requirement?: No- Floating
Requirements: Will float to MedSurg- How many shifts of
unit/department specific orientation?: Classroom orientation and 2-
12 hour shifts on the unit- Additional Notes: Attribute that will
make a nurse successful on this unit include strong communication
skills, highly organized, teamwork, innovative problem solving
skills, compassion, inclusion, integrity, excellence,
collaborationRadius Rule: 50 miles AND Candidates may not be full
time, part time or PRN with any facility associated with
CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.RTO needed upfront (7 or
less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be
