Registered Nurse – UHC Staffing Registered Nurse Location: Omaha,
NE Start Date: 03-02-2026 End Date: 06-01-2026 Contract Type:
Contract Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (Days: 6:30 AM - 7:00
PM; Nights: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), cyclic self-scheduling. Weekend
requirement: at minimum every 3rd weekend. Holiday requirement:
minimum 2 holidays per contract. Night-focused openings available.

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for adults and
geriatrics in an inpatient rehab setting Administer medications and
manage set-rate drips (antibiotics, anticoagulation, antiplatelets)
safely and accurately Perform thorough patient assessments and
develop/adjust care plans in collaboration with the
interdisciplinary team Document care and chart in EPIC promptly and
accurately to support continuity and quality of care Supervise and
coordinate with patient care techs/nurse aides to ensure efficient,
safe patient care Participate in unit orientation and pass the
skills/orientation exam to demonstrate competency Support patient
and family education related to rehabilitation goals and
post-discharge needs Float to MedSurg as needed and contribute to a
culture of teamwork, innovation, and problem solving Qualifications
Current RN license (active and in good standing) eligible for
submission BLS certification required prior to start Valid driver’s
license required at time of submittal (used to confirm 50-mile
radius eligibility) Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
(MedSurg/Inpatient Rehab experience strongly preferred) Comfortable
with EPIC charting and standard inpatient documentation Able to
pass a pass/fail orientation skills exam (90% required to remain on
assignment) Willingness to work every 3rd weekend, at least 2
holidays, and float to MedSurg when needed Must not be currently
full-time, part-time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit facility
(including CHI/Dignity) per radius rule Education Associate Degree
in Nursing or Nursing Diploma (BSN not required) Active RN license
and required certifications (BLS) Knowledge & Skills Medication
administration and safe handling of anticoagulation therapies
Patient assessment and critical thinking in rehabilitation and
med-surg populations Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record
Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and documentation
skills Familiarity with stroke, spinal cord injury, amputee and
brain injury care Ability to follow unit policies (e.g.,
fingernail/artificial nail restrictions) and safety protocols
