Job Description Job Description POSITION SUMMARY The Nursing
Coordinator is responsible for providing and overseeing nursing
services at the assisted living. Implements and enforces facility
nursing policies and ensures compliance with state licensing
regulation. Renders professional nursing services in the treatment
and care of assigned residents in accordance with physician orders.
Coordinates departmental functions and organizes facility nursing
programs within established budgets. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES &
RESPONSIBLITIES Works with the Administration to oversee day-to-day
operations of the Assisted Living. Utilizes the nursing process for
the performance of resident care to assess, plan, intervene and
evaluate resident care to achieve prioritized outcomes according to
the RN scope of practice. Works closely with Administration to make
important decisions. Provides resident care supervision and
communicates and collaborates effectively with other health care
team members. Assess potential residents for appropriateness of
admission to the Assisted Living. Works with the resident, family
and staff to review all information provided. Promotes and ensures
resident safety in performance of all responsibilities. Helps to
recruit and develop a qualified and productive workforce. Performs
employee relations functions effectively to promote a positive work
environment, influence retention and enhanced communication.
Develop, implement and maintain nursing policies and procedures for
the Assisted Living. Oversee the training of the medication aides
especially when it comes to medication administration and meeting
the physical and mental needs of the resident. Works with
administration concerning departmental financial operations and
participates in annual budget training. With Administration, manage
entity financial operations and generate business development and
revenues. Monitor expenses accordingly. Other duties as assigned.
Hours: 20 to 24 hours/week, Monday-Friday Education, Experience:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program Bachelor of Science in
Nursing preferred 3 years of nursing experience preferred
Certificates, Licensure, Registrations: Current active Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nebraska or multi state
licensure in a nurse licensure compact state. Current valid
driver's license. Basic Life Support (BLS). GENERAL REQUIREMENTS To
