Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Omaha, Nebraska. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - PCU Stepdown /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM /n• Patient ratios of 1:4-5 with 35-bed unit capacity /n• Every other weekend requirement /n• Every third holiday requirement /n• No call or standby requirements /n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS /n• Must pass open book exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score to continue /n• Artificial nails prohibited in all patient care departments /n• Driver's license required at submittal /n• Care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, diabetes, and continuous EEG monitoring conditions /n• Required to titrate drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications /n• Floating requirements to medical floors, ICU, or rehab units /n• Fast-paced environment requiring positive attitude, communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities /n• First week onboarding followed by 1-2 days floor orientation /n• EPIC charting system /n• Must be located more than 50 miles from facility /n• Cannot be employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with CommonSpirit facilities /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization operates a Level 2 trauma center providing comprehensive acute care services.
