Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical Intensive Care Unit Location: Omaha, NE Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,052 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of prior experience in a large, urban hospital License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: - Epic charting experience required - Experience in a Level 1 Academic Medical Center preferred Description: This is a 20-bed critical care unit providing care to critically ill patients. The unit cares for a variety of medical illnesses, including respiratory failure, acute and chronic kidney failure, liver failure, overdoses, and septic shock. Ratios are 1:2-3 days and 1:2-3 nights. Staff are required to float frequently to meet staffing needs. Floating may include various units as needed. Care teams include CNAs and care techs, transport teams, paramedics, and LPNs on some floors. 100% nicotine-free facility. RNs are expected to work 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period, including Fridays and Saturdays for night shifts. Up to two weeks of requested time off is permitted. Travelers must work 2 of 3 major holidays. Local candidates will not be accepted. Pending licenses are accepted, but proof must be provided.
