Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Omaha, Nebraska. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - ICU /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM /n• Self-scheduling managed by unit manager based on needs /n• Required to work 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period /n• Floating requirements to all inpatient units excluding Maternity/NICU /n• Must maintain 1:1-2 nurse to patient ratios in ICU, 1:4 in PCU /n• Work in 18-bed Trauma ICU serving adults and pediatric patients over 15 years old /n• Care for patients with various trauma injuries, sepsis, stroke, ARDS, MODS, COPD, and cardiac arrest /n• Required to titrate vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmic drips /n• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips using Draeger heart monitoring system /n• Work with advanced equipment including CVPs, IABP, Impella, arterial lines, Swan-Ganz catheters, EV-1000, and ICP monitoring /n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS /n• Must pass open book skills exam with 90% score during orientation or face contract termination /n• Navy blue scrubs required /n• 2 shifts of unit-specific orientation provided /n• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination /n• Must be located outside 50-mile radius and cannot be employed with CommonSpirit facilities /n• No first-time travelers accepted /n• Driver's license required at submittal for radius verification /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization operates as the only Level 1 trauma center in the system, providing critical care services for the most severely injured patients.
