Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing professional clinical knowledge and skills in patient care • May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses • Every other weekend schedule required • No on-call responsibilities • 2 years of previous nursing experience required • At least 1 travel contract completed preferred • BLS (AHA) certification required • Iowa state license required • Must not have been an employee of this health system in the last 12 months • Patient-to-nurse ratios: 1:4-5 during day shifts, 1:5-6 during night shifts • Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from facility • Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date required • EMR system: EPIC • Supervisory reference required at time of submission Facility: This regional medical center is part of a comprehensive healthcare network that operates multiple trauma centers across the region, including level 1, 2, 3, and 4 trauma centers.
