(12-hour shifts) - Duration: 13 weeks - Hours per Week: 36 (Night
shift ER nurse) - Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend - Start

Job Requirements / Qualifications - Active Registered Nurse (RN)
license in Iowa — must be valid for assignment - Minimum 1 year of
recent Emergency Department (ED) / Emergency Room (ER) nursing
experience - Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS
(AHA), TNCC - Experience documenting patient care in EPIC EMR
(preferred/required for accurate charting) - Driver’s license and
reliable transportation - Updated resume, skills checklist
completed within the past year, and license verification - Copy of
required certifications and at least one supervisory reference -
First-time travel nurses welcome — supportive travel nurse
orientation provided - Must have a taxable address outside 50 miles
from the facility (travel nurse housing/eligibility requirement)
Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency
care to patients across all ages in the Emergency Department -
Triage, assess, stabilize, and manage critical and urgent care
patients in a fast-paced ED setting - Collaborate with physicians,
advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to plan
and implement patient care - Respond quickly and effectively to
emergency situations and rapid changes in patient condition -
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
accurately in EPIC EMR - Float within the same discipline across
local campuses as needed to support ED staffing - Participate in
orientation, ongoing training, and maintain compliance with
