Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts • 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratios • Care for medical-surgical patients including post-operative recovery patients • Handle oncology med/surg overflow patients • Float as needed within scope of practice • Must pass open book exam during orientation with 90% minimum score required • One year of nursing experience required • Open to first-time travelers • Charge nurse experience requires at least 1 year of experience • BLS certification required • Driver's license required for submission • Must comply with fingernail policy - artificial nails prohibited in patient care areas • Use EPIC charting system • BSN degree not required • Must be outside 50-mile radius and not employed with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities • Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment Facility: This healthcare facility is a Level 1 trauma center providing comprehensive acute care services.
