This role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver and oversee high-quality perioperative care. Flexibility is key, as you may be asked to float across disciplines at local campuses, supporting a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide patient-centered care in the operating room, applying clinical knowledge to ensure safety and positive outcomes Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth operative procedures Float within the discipline as needed across local campuses to support staffing needs Utilize EPIC electronic medical records to document care efficiently and accurately Desired Experience and Qualifications: Current RN license with specialized experience in operating room nursing Familiarity with EPIC or similar EMR systems Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment Excellent communication and critical thinking skills Work Schedule and Compensation Details: Contract position with shifts totaling 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable beyond 40 hours Orientation available on multiple bi-weekly dates from March through December Night, holiday, and call back differentials apply, including: Night/holiday pay at 1.15x multiplier Call back pay at 1.5x multiplier (minimum 2 hours) On-call pay at $9/hour Charge/preceptor pay at $6/hour Location Insight:Sioux City offers a blend of urban amenities and Midwestern charm.
