Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Omaha, NE Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $2,224 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/11/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Mindlance Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68101! ID: 76623102 Shift: 12H Day, Evening 3p-3a Description: Unit Notes:*NO CLINICAL INVOLVEMENT, SEND DIRECTLY TO FACILITY MANAGER FOR INTERVIEWRadius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.* * RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated * Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contractDepartment: ER2 years exp in ED required*Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, HSS Team (workplace violence training)*it is very difficult for us to do block scheduling. We do try to make it work if we can but I cannot guarantee it.- Trauma Level? STEMI Receiving? Stroke Center?: Certified stoke center- of Beds/Trauma Bays: 18- Ratios: 1:4-5 based on acuity- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: All age groups, Chest pain, abdominal pain, cough/congestion, orthopedic injuries, ENT emergencies, behavioral health, sepsis, and stroke. Treat a lot of high acuity patients here - Common drips: Antibiotics, narcotics, anti-emetics, vaccines, emergency medications- EMR IV Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Yes- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): 7a-7p,11a-11p, 3p-3a, 7p-7a / Leadership will make schedule based on needsWeekend Requirements: Every other weekend- Floating Requirements: No - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Navy Blue- How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 2 shifts- Additional Notes: Utilize TeleHealth here, Focus is on purposeful rounding. Looking for a someone with a passion for emergency medicine, has a positive attitude, is a team player, and has compassion.
