Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Omaha, NE Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,224 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry/Med-Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: Good attitude Positive mindset Team player Cares for patients and team members Description: Unit provides care for adult patients with some pediatrics. Common patient diagnoses include post-surgical, diabetes, heart failure, hypertension, weakness, and cancer. Staffing ratio is 5 patients to 1 nurse. Position involves floating to designated units as needed. Navy scrubs are required. Electronic medical records are managed using Epic. Candidates will be subjected to a pass/fail exam during orientation. All materials necessary to succeed in the exam will be provided. Successful candidates must score a minimum of 90% to avoid contract termination. Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care departments. Refusal to comply will result in contract termination. Candidates must serve a diverse patient population. Vaccination status against COVID-19 is a requirement. Hospital reserves the right to cancel up to 4 shifts during the assignment period.
