JOB OVERVIEW Assists patients with activities of daily living, including, but not limited to bathing, grooming, skincare, dressing, oral hygiene, feeding, toileting, incontinence care, and ambulation as per the plan of care Light housekeeping, meal preparation, and run errands/shopping Medication reminders Assist with ambulation/safe transfer techniques and range of motion Complete documentation for observations and cares provided to patients accurately and according to agency policies Observes and reports any changes in the patient's physical, mental, or emotional condition or home situation to a RN Provide compassionate, personalized care while involving the patient in socialization or other diversional activities to promote the activity of the mind and self-esteem
