- Specialty: LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum -
Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36
hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel
- Position: RN – Maternal/OB Unit (Labor & Delivery, Postpartum,
Level 1 maternal care) - Facility Policies: - Fingernail Policy:
Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care areas. Refusal
to remove will result in contract termination. Certifications
Required - BLS (Basic Life Support) - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation
Program) Experience & Skills - Years of Experience: No minimum;
must be competent in labor, delivery, and postpartum care. -
Preferred: NICU experience is a plus. Staffing & Ratios - Patient
Ratios: - 1:3 for mom-baby couplets - 1:1 for laboring patients
(depending on case) - Charge Nurse: Present each shift and takes an
assignment. Scheduling & Flexibility - Blocked Scheduling: Flexible
candidates preferred - Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend -
Floating: Not required; closed unit Patient Population - Level 1
Maternal Care: Low-risk births - Common Cases: Occasional magnesium
sulfate (mag) and gestational diabetes (GDM) patients - Common IV
Drips: Insulin, magnesium, Pitocin - IV Pumps: Alaris pumps About
