JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Otolaryngologist Job Type: Permanent Full-Time Location: Columbus, NE Service Setting: Hospital-Employed Practice Schedule: Full-time clinic and surgical schedule; details to be discussed during interview On-Call Expectations: Shared call rotation; details to be discussed Start Date: Negotiable PATIENT POPULATION & SCOPE Patient Demographics: Pediatric and Adult Patients Average Daily Volume / Census: Strong existing and growing demand for ENT services in the region Admissions & Rounding: As clinically appropriate Consults & Follow-Ups: Yes Case Mix/Clinical Focus Areas: Comprehensive Otolaryngology including medical and surgical ENT care FACILITY & TEAM DETAILS Beds in Department/Unit: Acute care facility serving Platte County and seven surrounding counties Trauma Designation: Level III Trauma Center EMR System: State-of-the-art diagnostic and clinical systems Specialty Backup: Strong in-house adult and pediatric hospitalist programs with full specialty support Support Staff: Excellent nursing staff and collaborative medical team Leadership & Reporting Structure: Hospital-employed position within established ENT practice Reason for Opening: Growth within a well-respected and expanding ENT service line CREDENTIALING & COMPLIANCE Board Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology DEA & Certifications: DEA required; additional certifications as applicable Credentialing Timeline: Standard hospital credentialing process Visa Sponsorship: To be discussed
