Retail Store Manager Department: Retail Operations Work
Location:Bellevue Employment Status: Full-Time Salary Range:
\$50,000 JOBSUMMARY The Store Manager is directly responsible for
the operationsof a Goodwill retail store in accordance with
Goodwill policies andprocedures in support of the Goodwill Mission.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES andRESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve or exceed budgeted sales goals by maintaining
appropriateexpense to revenue ratios, adjusting staff, and
controlling companyassets
- Create and implement timely store sales events to achieve
additionalrevenue
- Foster a positive store atmosphere in support of
employees,customers and participants
- Achieve or exceed production goals monthly/annually by
processingdonations within 24 hours of receipt
- Effectively recruit, hire, develop, supervise, schedule and
evaluatestore personnel; supervise volunteers
- Support Mission-related programs in the retail store
- Responsible for controlling company assets and funds
- Create a positive public image of Goodwill through a clean
storeenvironment, attractive displays, and presentable and
personablesales and management staff
- Maintain a safe working/shopping environment. Investigate
anddocument all accidents/injuries/incidents
- Ensure customers are treated in a fair, courteous and
efficientmanner
- Oversee and ensure compliance of store salvaging
- Complete required paperwork accurately, neatly and submit
withinestablished timeframe
- Collaborate with Loss Prevention to ensure an effective
andproactive LP program is in place
- Maintain merchandising guidelines through colorization
andclassification of store inventory
- Promote diversity in the work place through hiring practices
andassistance from the Human Resources Department
- Meet or exceed the attendance expectations for this
position
- Actively maintain a safe, healthy, and positive environment
thatpromotes the physical and emotional well-being of
employees,customers, and participants
- Performs other duties as assignedINDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT and
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
- Personally participate in ongoing professional
development,education and development as well as supporting others
in theirefforts to develop.
- Working relationship with supervisor, co-workers,
andinter-departmentally.
- Must have good supervisory and customer relations skills.

words.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully,

to perform the essential functions.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor\'s degree in business, marketing, or related
fieldpreferred
- Four (4) or more years retail sales experience in a
supervisorycapacity preferredCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- None requiredKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
- Must have good marketing and merchandising ability.
- Must be able to work flexible hours as required in order to
meetoperational needs of the store
- Must have knowledge of clothing and fashion trends.PHYSICAL
DEMANDS Medium Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequentlifting
and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds. WORKENVIRONMENT
Modera e Occasionally exposed to extreme atmosphericconditions
(temperature, noise fumes, dust, etc.)
