GENERAL PURPOSECreate a positive experience for customers including residents and employees. Responsible for providing excellent customer service, quality, product and presentations while maintaining food safety and health code standards. - -ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIESAssist with preparation of food as directedAssist with meal service and delivery of meals and snacksAssist with set up of dining rooms and other hospitality areasClean service wear and maintain sanitation as assigned in the departmentSupport dining room programs and other hospitality areasFollows Company, Local, State, and Federal guidelines for Food Safety, Food Handling and Required methods of Documentation.CODE OF CONDUCTMust adhere to the Company's Code of Conduct and Business Ethics policy including documentation and reporting responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONSHigh School diploma or equivalent, preferredMinimum one (1) year food service experience, preferredMeet all local health regulationsMust be capable of maintaining regular attendanceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & BEHAVIORSAbility to operate food service equipmentGood interpersonal skillsStrong verbal, reading and writing skillsMust be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary informationMust have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with patients, families, and other employees at all levelsPHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTSMobility, reaching, bending, lifting (minimum of 10 pounds), fine hand coordination, ability to read and write, the ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions and directions, ability to travel, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
