Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Sonographer - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with at least 2 years of cardiovascular and vascular scanning experience and valid ARDMS or equivalent credentials. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Position is based in an acute care setting with the possibility to float between local campuses - Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM - No weekend or on-call requirements - Patient population includes adult cardiovascular and vascular cases - EPIC EMR is utilized for documentation, with experience preferred - Primary responsibilities include performing cardiovascular and vascular sonography as part of a multi-disciplinary team - May be required to float within the same discipline across different campuses - No weekend or holiday call responsibilities - Expected to work 2 out of 3 major winter holidays as needed - Scrubs are not specified, so bring appropriate work attire /n /n Requirements/n - Minimum of 2 years recent experience in cardiac and vascular sonography - Completion of at least 1 prior travel contract - ARDMS, BCLS, CCI-RCIS, or RDCS certification required - Active Iowa state license required if applicable - Supervisory reference from within the last 2 years required - Epic EMR experience preferred /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-646812.
