Are you an experienced HR Specialist, looking to make a difference in your next career? Our client, one of the most highly respected not-for-profit organizations in the Omaha area is seeking an individual who believes in their mission of strengthening the community through education & employment to assist within their HR department. Responsibilities:

• Welcome new employees via meeting for onboarding paperwork, sending out offer letters, and conducting New Hire Orientation
• Maintain employee records in HRIS system
• Maintain hard-copy and electronic personnel files in compliance with legal requirements
• Assist employees with questions and concerns
• Distribute performance reviews
• Ensure company compensation policies and grading structures are up to date
• Maintain compliance with I-9 filing
• Manage the tuition reimbursement process
• Respond to unemployment claims
• Other duties as assigned Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in HR or related field
  • 1 year of HR experience
  • 1 3 years administrative support
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Some local travel
  • First Aid & CPR certified
  • Superior time management and attention to detail
